It was a good experience, it took a few days to find the vehicle I wanted, with the interior I wanted , and seemed to really be discouraged about ordering one in with exactly what I wanted . Other then that my experience was good.
Bergstrom was on time probably even a little early, that was appreciated. The facility was clean and comfortable. Oil was smeared on my center council. I noticed it before I put my arm in it. This could have stained my jacket. Also, my lunch box was in the font passenger seat. It was set upside down in the back seat, causing a few things to spill out; not the end of the world, but more care was expected. They finished early and seemed to do a good job. Overall I am satisfied, just wish a little more care was taken while inside the cab of my truck.
I came in for just an oil change. As always, the sales person that handles the oil change works on commission and tried to upsell me on a new battery. He came out and tried to convince me that my battery needed to be replaced and wanted to charge about $140. I then took my car to Batteries Plus the next day and had it checked and it is holding 100% of its charge and is only two years into its four-year lifespan. I think I've had just about enough of using Bergstrom.
They didn't fix my main problem. They tell me they can't make the problem occur, but if they would listen to me about how to make it occur they should be able to. It happened twice on my way home from the dealership. I guess I will have to go somewhere else since this is the second time I had them look at the problem. I have always owned GM vehicles for over 48 years now but that might change.
